Downeast Outfitters, Inc. retails women’s apparel, home furnishings, and accessories. The company sells products through its stores as well as online. Downeast Outfitters, Inc. was founded in 1991 and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah with over 60 locations across Utah, Colorado, California, Idaho, Arizona, Washington, Nevada, and Wyoming.

As a graphic designer for this company, my responsibilities included designing Downeast’s digital marketing including digital ads for monthly branding and weekly promotions, a daily email to our consumers, and weekly design to update our homepage, all in line with Downeast’s branding. I also created signage, window clings, banners, flyers and other visual merchandising for our stores.

During my time at Downeast, I was able to improve efficiencies that led to a savings of several thousand dollars a month for the company by designing visually pleasing digital advertisements for our digital ad agency, Number Six. I met tight deadlines, especially during holidays, which are busy for retail. I enjoyed adding my design input and digital ad agency experience to the Downeast marketing team.
